"Lovely location. Audrey was a great server! I had the Berry Streusel Waffle with a side of sausage. The waffle was good not too sweet. The sausage was definitely homemade and amazing."

"Amazing breakfast with delicious Brazilian influences! We had the Avocado Toast and the Waffle and would absolutely order both again (but want to try other delicious dishes we saw other tables order…the Crab Benedict and Chicken & Waffles were getting great reviews at the table next to us.) The servers were outstanding! Also, the outdoor patio is dog friendly too! This is a must breakfast stop in Saugatuck!"

"Absolutely spectacular!!! Our new favorite!!! Joey is amazing!!! I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had the Crab Benedict. Both meals were a work of art but the crab benny should be in a museum! I spent the rest of the day trying to figure out how they made it! Joey made our visit such a fun experience. The chicken and waffles was so good and the chicken was so tender and juicy!! It has ruined chicken and waffles for me from any other restaurant. I had a cafe Miel that was delightful as well!! *****Update***** We loved it so much that we returned the next day with my In-laws. I was initially disappointed that we didn’t have Joey as our waiter, but Sam did not disappoint!!This time I had the breakfast burrito. It was so good I ate the whole thing! I couldn’t stop myself! I barely ate anything the rest of the day My wife got the Crab Benedict again because she loved it so much. We had a tiny discrepancy with one of our meals and they brought out a new one so fast it made my head spin! We didn’t even ask for a replacement. Such excellent service at such a busy time. We have added Malu to our list of restaurants to visit every time we come to Saugatuck."

"Such a cute breakfast spot!! Great aesthetic, vibes, atmosphere, and the staff are awesome. The food is just different enough to be fun and exciting, but not too crazy for your picky eaters! It also just tastes so delicious and homemade. We had Hailey as our server and she was amazing!"

"Fantastic food! We had the eggs Benedict, which was scotch egg on a seared english muffins, plenty of hollandaise. And the chicken in waffles which were sweet and savory, the hot honey was an amazing touch!"

"Everything about Malu was absolutely wonderful. From hearing the story about how Malu became the name of the restaurant, to the owner Bruno being so hospitable and kind and our waitress Hailey. The food was on another level of delicious and a beautiful introduction to Brazilian cuisine. We will definitely be back to this Saugatuck gem!!"

"This place was amazing! It was literally the BEST breakfast we have ever had. We ordered the crab eggs benedict and the Maria Lucia named after the owners mother, and it was NOT disappointing! Our server Audrey was amazing also. She made sure we were well taken care of and our coffee was never empty. She even brought us complimentary banana chocolate muffins! The caramel silk is a must! Definitely returning again!"

"The staff was very friendly & attentive as soon as we walked in! Several staff members took time to talk to us about the restaurant’s history, where we were from & what other adventures we could pursue in town! We were pleased with the plant based - vegan options on the menu! My husband had an amazing vegan breakfast burrito (I had to try for myself & it was delish!) I had the vegan Crab Eggs Benedict- the outer crust was good & the presentation was top notch, but the filling itself was a little too much for me, too much mushiness, I couldn’t finish it! I’d definitely go back & get the burrito next time! It was a picturesque place in a quaint setting 10/10!"
